Basic, Cheap, Healthy and Antioxidant filled Mixed Berry Smoothies!
 
Hi!
I’ve been eager to get more fit and into shape lately, and since I am currently on 6 weeks holidays from university I wanted to try new things! Go exploring and be healthier were at the top of my to-do list. So, I’ve really been experimenting with fruit smoothies lately and my favourite is my Mixed-Berry Smoothie. It’s easy, cheap and super time-saving plus healthy! So, I wanted to share it with the world. This basic recipe is the go to breakfast drink, filled with antioxidants! 
 
Racquel’s Mixed Berry Smoothie – Recipe 
 
INGREDIENTS:
– A handful of mixed berries (frozen or not; usually consisting of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)
– 1 cup of skim milk 
– 1 tablespoon low fat ice-cream (makes it sweeter, but not compulsory)
 
METHOD:
1. Scoop ice-cream into electric blender.
2. Add mixed berries
3. Pour milk into blender
4. BLEND! 
 
If you wanna be real posh and all, pour the smoothie into a glass, add a teaspoon of plain vanilla low-fat yoghurt on top and add extra berries. 

It is seriously like sweet heaven in your mouth. 
To create beautiful colours, divide the raspberries and blueberries up!
